If you have ever been frustrated trying to figure out the popular blog building program, WordPress, you'll appreciate the book WordPress 2, by Maria Langer and Miraz Jordan. WordPress 2 is a Visual Quickstart Guide that provides concise steps and explanations that will get your blog up and going in no time.

After struggling to build a blog for a client and spending hours searching for how-to information in forums and blog posts, I discovered WordPress 2. Unfortunately I had already finished my client's blog before I purchased WordPress 2. The good news is that future blog-building will be a whole lot easier.

WordPress 2 uses pictures to guide you through WordPress and show you what to do. I've followed the steps in the book and am now able to make sense of the amazing WordPress program. In fact, it's what I'm currently using to build my own blog on my hosted ISP server. Of course you can also set up a weblog on the WordPress.com service, which is a lot easier, but not as customizable.
